The Village and Community Halls’ Network – Stroud District, launched in November 2007, is an informal support group for the sharing of ideas and best practice for all involved in the running of community spaces. We aim to achieve this through regular meetings, talks and informal communication between members.
The network is run on a voluntary basis by hall committee members for hall committee members and is not intended to be a source of official policy and advice – it is simply a forum for encouraging interaction between members with similar problems and challenges. We are supported by Stroud District Council, Stroud District Local Strategic Partnership and the Gloucestershire Rural Community Council, who should be contacted for all professional advice.
